The support of private donors and the St. Louis community is essential to sustaining outdoor recreation in Forest Park.

Fall Storytime in Forest Park at the Meadow in the Nature Playscape Weekly on Mondays at 10am from Sept. 9-Oct. 28, no Storytime on Oct. 14.

Fall Storytime in the Nature Playscape

Join the Education Team and St. Louis Public Library partners for Fall Storytime from September 9 through October 28, except October 14. Our outdoor Storytime series is a great way to connect with nature, books and community.

This program is weather dependent. Please check our park-wide event calendar for cancellations.

Forest Park Basketball Courts Open

The Nicholas “Nick” J. Booker Basketball Courts in Forest Park are now open! We celebrated with the community at two events in July, and already basketball enthusiasts are enjoying the two full courts and two half courts amid the beauty of Forest Park. These courts are free and open to all.

Find your way to the “The Nick” with our interactive map of Forest Park here.

Reimagining Steinberg Rink & Eastern Forest Park

The Forest Park Master Plan calls for Steinberg to become a year-round amenity. What could that look like?

We’re partnering with the City and world-class designers on a vision that invites the community to enjoy eastern Forest Park in every season.
