Thursday Nights at the Museum is a weekly series where the museum exhibits are open late and you can enjoy pop-up activities, a cash bar, food and more!
Anna the Wolf, today on display in the Collected exhibit, was born at St. Louis’s Endangered Wolf Center on Earth Day 2001, the progeny of two of the last wild-born Mexican gray wolves found after the species was declared extinct in 1980. Anna gave birth to 41 Mexican gray wolf pups, changing the course of her species’ survival. Celebrate Anna’s legacy with a panel of experts who will discuss their roles in wolf conservation and the status of wolves in Missouri today. The program will feature a special video introduction from National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore.
ASL interpretation is available for programs with two weeks' advance notice. Please email access@mohistory.org to request ASL interpretation or with other accessibility questions.
