Restoring the Statue of Saint Louis on Art Hill

Apotheosis of Saint Louis — the statue of this city's namesake that stands at the top of Art Hill – is getting some much-needed attention over the next few weeks. King Louis IX has been looking out over Forest Park since 1906, and the last time the statue was restored was in 1998.

This cleaning and restoration project was funded thanks to generous donations to Forest Park Forever. The statue of Saint Louis is a major cultural landmark in this city and making sure it continues to stand for generations to come is something we take very seriously. We are grateful to our donors for making this important work possible.
