A Message From Forest Park Forever on COVID-19 — Updated 3/15/20
To the Forest Park community:
In light of the C.D.C.’s latest guidance recommending against any gatherings of 50 or more people, Forest Park's Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center is closed to the public effectively immediately until further notice.
As our community works to collectively limit the spread of COVID-19, we believe this action is essential. We recognize this impacts the Forest Park visitor experience and we appreciate your understanding at this challenging time.
We would like to share a few additional notes:
If you are a locker member and would like to reach out to us about removing any personal items from the lockers until the rooms reopen, please contact Facility Manager Steve Burkhardt at 314-367-7275 ext. 122 or sburkhardt@forestparkforever.org.
The Forest Park Forever team continues to work in partnership with the City to take great care of the Park and to communicate with Park visitors, our members, partners and more.
For any Forest Park Forever members or other visitors who may have planned to stop in to pick up a member premium or inquire about a tribute gift, we ask that you contact us at info@forestparkforever.org or 314-367-7275 and one of our team members will be back in touch.
A Few Programming Updates
The Beginner Bird Walk that had been scheduled for Saturday, April 4, has been cancelled.
We have cancelled upcoming school trips that had been coordinated through Forest Park Forever.
If you have questions about events held by the wonderful cultural institutions and recreational amenities here in Forest Park, please connect with them directly via their respective websites.
Thank you for being part of the Forest Park community. We are continually inspired by the role Forest Park plays in our region, including at challenging times like this. If you choose to get some fresh air in Forest Park in the coming weeks, we wanted you to have this updated information.
