Twilight Thursdays Concert Series: Tribute to Frankie Beverly & Maze

May ushers in the long-awaited return of concert season at the Missouri History Museum! This popular, free outdoor concert series on our North Plaza brings a lineup of spectacular shows from local musicians. Grab your blankets and lawn chairs, pack your picnic basket, and listen to music under a beautiful Forest Park sunset. Some of the area’s best food trucks will also be on hand each week.

Singer, songwriter, and producer Frankie Beverly, along with his soul band Maze, rose to stardom after opening for Marvin Gaye, eventually cruising all the way back to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The group’s success culminated in nine gold albums and a massive following with hits like “Joy and Pain,” “Happy Feeling’,” and “Before I Let Go.” Wear all white to honor the legendary soul singer Beverly, who passed in 2024,
