Missouri Dept. of Conservation (MDC) winter class offerings at the Fish Hatchery in Forest Park. The classes are all free but do require advanced registration online here.

The All About Trout class will convene in two separate lessons from 8 to 10 a.m. on Feb. 10 and Feb. 11 at the Forest Park Hatchery. 

Budding anglers will use ultralight spinning reels and rods. Warm clothes are recommended and a fishing license is required. 

The same two introductory trout fishing lessons will be taught together from 7 a.m. to noon Feb. 14.
