Join the Missouri Historical Society (MHS) for a series of Women’s History Month events at the Missouri History Museum.
Dr. Arthelda Busch Williams, past national historian of the National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs (NACWC), and Linda Nance, founder and president of the Annie Malone Historical Society and the NACWC’s current national historian, will present a fascinating overview of the involvement and influence the NACWC had on the 1904 World’s Fair. This program will also delve into the research Busch Williams used to write her 2004 Gateway Heritage story, “Lifting As We Climb:The National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs.”
African American History Initiative programming is presented by Wells Fargo.
