HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH: PRESERVING THE STORIES OF HISPANIC ST. LOUIS
In observance of Hispanic Heritage Month, MHS staff will share documents and publications in our collections that demonstrate the complex relationships between Spain, Mexico, and St. Louis during the colonial period in the late 1700s as well as during the Mexican Revolution in the early 1900s. The program will also include a conversation with Hispanic community leaders about the future of expanding MHS’s collections to represent and include the stories of Hispanic and Latin American St. Louisans.
