First Responders Children's Foundation Family Skate

St. Louis Department of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry, Forest Park Forever, and Rink Management Services have partnered to offer a family ice skating party at Steinberg Skating Rink to support local first responders and national non-profit First Responders Children's Foundation.  

The St. Louis community and first responder families are invited to participate in the family-friendly event on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022. The skating party will take place from 1 to 9 p.m. at Steinberg Skating Rink, 400 Jefferson Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110. 

By showing a first responder ID, first responder families will receive the special admission price of $5 per person, including rental ice skates. 100% of proceeds will benefit First Responders Children's Foundation.

About First Responders Children's Foundation

For 20 years, First Responders Children's Foundation has been providing college scholarships to the children of first responders who have been injured or lost in the line of duty. The Foundation also awards grants to families enduring financial hardship and supports educational activities and programs created by first responder organizations to benefit children or the communities in which they live. The First Responders Children's Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund provides financial hardship grants, PPE, and hotel accommodations to first responders on the front lines of the pandemic.  The Foundation also pays for funerals of first responders who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
