Tony, Grammy, and Emmy award-winner André De Shields (Broadway: Hadestown, The Wiz, Ain’t Misbehavin) stars in the titanic title role in William Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy. Directed by Carl Cofield (Associate Artistic Director of the Classical Theatre of Harlem), King Lear is a brilliant return for Shakespeare in Forest Park.

Reservations Required for all attendees, no walk-ups. Pods are 10’ x 10’ in size and spaced six feet apart. Each pod seats up to six guests. Prices vary from weekday to weekend (FRI/SAT).

  Reservations for free pods will open every Monday at noon for the coming week. Quantity limited to one per household. Bring your own chairs and blankets. Pods nearest the stage are BLANKET ONLY and labeled on the map.
