The City of St. Louis Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry offers hayrides in Forest Park on Friday and Saturday nights on fall weekends.
Reservations are for one wagon, NOT a space on a wagon. You cannot walk up and rent a space on the wagon.
Tractors pull the wagons, leaving from Faulkner and Wells Drive and take approximately 45-minutes. They return to this area where a bonfire is waiting. Time of the bonfire is 30 minutes.
You can bring items to roast at the bonfire. You can bring alcoholic beverages, however, no glass containers allowed. NO ALCOHOL ON THE HAYRIDE WAGON.
Preparation
Reservations are required for Hayrides. All reservations must be made in person.
For availability, please call (314) 289-5330 between the hours of 9 am - 4 pm.
Remember that you are reserving the wagon, not a seat on the wagon. You will be asked to pay the wagon fee.
Step 1: Choose a date
October 23rd - 24th 2020
October 30th - 31st 2020
November 6th - 7th 2020
November 13th - 14th 2020
November 20th - 21st 2020
Step 2: Choose a time
7:00 pm & 7:15 pm
Step 3: Participants on Wagon- Maximum of 10 personnel
Babies, children, pets, etc. count as 1 person. Regardless if you are holding them or placing them on your lap.
To keep in mind:
There are no refunds.
Dates are not transferable.
Hayrides go on rain or shine. Due to COVID-19, no early socializing is permitted. Please arrive 15 minutes prior.

Please choose another date and time if your first request is not available.
Obtain payment detail and information from the Park Department staff. If you need an ADA wagon, request at time of reservation.
Rental fee is $200 payable by check or money order, made payable to City of St Louis.
FeesThe fee is $200 for one hayride wagon, with a maximum of 10 people per wagon.
