Wednesday, December 8, KMOV (Channel 4) will again partner with Forest Park Forever to present A Day 4 Forest Park, a special telethon in support of our “For Health, Hope & Happiness” year-end fundraising drive, For the Love of the Park!

Our friends at the Enterprise Holdings Foundation have pledged $30,000 to match new memberships dollar for dollar up to $1,000. Help restore and maintain this vital local treasure, and thank you for making a difference in our community!

“As an important part of St. Louis, we at Channel 4 have been thrilled for more than 20 years to support our region’s greatest civic treasure, a place of beauty and joy for 13 million people a year,” says KMOV News Anchor Claire Kellett.

A Day 4 Forest Park will start at 6 a.m. and run all the way to 7:00 p.m., giving everyone plenty of opportunities to give, no matter when they tune in throughout the day.

The day will be a Who’s Who of Forest Park, featuring Forest Park Forever leaders, team members, volunteers, active Forest Park Forever members and people who use the Park every day.

Many of the participants have also been featured on the Forest Park Experience recently. The program will include how Forest Park Forever on-staff experts keep the Park looking so great year ’round, plus tree planting tips from the pros.

“Forest Park has such an amazing legacy, in terms of its history, its attractions and everything it provides for the community,” Kellett says. “The money we raise through A Day 4 Forest Park helps make sure that Forest Park Forever has the resources it needs to keep the Park’s legacy alive, and to continue being a model for parks organizations across the country.”
