2017 Fall Family FunFest: Event Recap

Our members make the work we do possible. Thanks to their generosity, we are able to take care of Forest Park alongside our City partners all year long – from planting trees and flowers to repaving roads and repairing paths. As a way of showing our appreciation for their critical support, we host our annual Fall Family FunFest as a way of saying "thank you." 

This year's event took place on Sunday, October 15, spread around the grounds of the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center. We were thrilled that more than 800 of our members and their loved ones chose to spend the day with us, enjoying all sorts of family-friendly activities. From longtime favorites like the Bubble Bus, bounce houses and face painting to new activities including lawn games, an upcycled craft station from Perennial and a beer garden featuring kid-friendly root beer from Fitz's and adult-friendly beverages from Urban Chestnut, guests of all ages were able to choose their own adventure for a day out in Forest Park.
