Forest Park Forever Senior Vice President Tamara Sheffield Named to 2015 Class of the Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge

ST. LOUIS, March 18, 2015 — The Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation has selected Forest Park Forever Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations Tamara Sheffield as a ‘Challenger’ in the 2015 class of the Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge. This competitive, year-long program enriches the leadership development of Challengers and exposes them to the philosophies and thoughts of the state’s business, cultural, educational and political leaders.

The Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation is the state’s premier leadership organization and is designed to bring together women leaders from global corporations, small business, academia, government agencies and non-profit organizations. The mission of Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation is educating and inspiring women leaders to make a difference.

“I am truly honored that the Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation has selected me to be a part of this ‘Challenge,’" said Tamara Sheffield. “I consider it a privilege to spend a year working and learning alongside some of the most talented women leaders in the state to positively impact change in our region.”

“We are thrilled that Tamara is part of this esteemed program,” said Forest Park Forever President and Executive Director Lesley S. Hoffarth. “We know firsthand how her hard-working and inspiring spirit can bring forth great change.”

Sheffield has been with Forest Park Forever since April 2011 and has played an integral role in tripling the organization’s net assets from $36 million to $90 million. She oversees Forest Park Forever’s financial management, maintenance, operations, education, visitor and volunteer services, and human resources.
