Navigating Evolution Festival's Second Rendition

The 2024 Evolution Festival is taking place in Forest Park on Saturday, September 28, and Sunday, September 29, 2024. Whether you’re attending the festival or just visiting Forest Park, this is a guide to help you navigate Forest Park leading up to and during Festival weekend.

Setup for the Park’s largest musical event starts on Monday, September 23, and some roads may be occupied or temporarily closed around Langenberg Field, Cricket Field and The Boathouse.

Closures reflected on the maps below may limit vehicle traffic from Friday, September 27, through Monday, September 30.

Top Navigation Tips:

ADA Accessibility & Parking

  • Free street and public lot parking is available throughout Forest Park all weekend but please keep in mind parking spots are limited

Entering & Exiting

  • Entry to the festival from Union Blvd. is closed due to ongoing bridge construction on Grand Dr.

  • Vehicles will still be able to travel south on Union Blvd. to enter the Forest Park Parkway ramp going east

  • Lagoon Drive will be closed east of Fine Arts Drive to DeBaliviere Circle at the Missouri History Museum

  • Pagoda Circle will be closed from Government Drive to Theatre Drive

  • DeBaliviere Ave. traffic will flow around the Missouri History Museum but will not continue south onto Grand Drive

  • McKinley Drive will be closed between Pagoda Circle and Carr Lane Drive

Additional Transportation & Festival Notes

  • Metro St. Louis 90-Hampton bus line route will be affected and may experience schedule delays

  • Grand Drive ends at Union Blvd. because the Lafeyette Bridge is under construction

  • The Festival’s on-site box office will be located directly across Grand Drive from the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor & Education Center

  • Festival doors open at 1:00 p.m. and visitors are encouraged to spend the morning exploring Forest Park (ForestParkMap.org) before the music begins at 2:00 p.m.

    • Festivities and music are scheduled to conclude at 11:00 p.m. each evening

  • The Festival will have a trained meteorologist on-site to monitor any inclement weather in real time who will also be in direct contact with the National Weather Service.
