The Great Forest Park Balloon Glow & Race is a popular annual tradition for countless St. Louisans – not to mention the oldest and most well-attended free hot air balloon event in the world. After being cancelled last year due to weather, we were excited to have the balloons return to Forest Park this year. 

Both the Glow and the Race were extremely well attended and the many Instagram photos can speak to how photogenic the whole celebration really was. We didn't want to miss the magic either, and so we asked local photographer Ben Scherliss to attend and capture the festivities on both Friday and Saturday.
