Such a Boootiful Place — Halloween Happenings Throughout Forest Park

Our friends at Park institutions have lots of fun things in store leading up to Halloween. Below are just a few examples of festive events taking place in Forest Park.

Boo at the Zoo Nights at the Saint Louis Zoo
Through October 30 | 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Come explore the Zoo after dark during the special Halloween evenings: Boo at the Zoo Nights! This non-scary, kid-friendly Halloween experience is filled with laughs and adventure. Children are encouraged to wear costumes. Children 12-and-under will receive a treat bag upon exiting. Boo at the Zoo Nights is not a trick-or-treating experience.

Science Spooktacular at the Saint Louis Science Center
Friday, October 23 | 5:00 p.m. (end Saturday, October 24 at 10:00 a.m.)

Enjoy a Halloween costume contest, "creepy" chemistry and all of the standard camp-in activites. Every camp-in includes dinner, snack and breakfast, plus a film in the OMNIMAX Theater, an interactive Amazing Science Demonstration, a Planetarium Show, free rein of the Science Center galleries, and - of course - the chance to camp at the Science Center.

Storytelling at the Museum—Trick or Treat! at the Missouri History Museum
October 26, 27, & 30 | 10:30 a.m. (each session is 45 minutes)

Wear your costume and join MHM for Halloween stories! This program engages young children ages 2-5 and their families in historic objects and museum settings by using traditional and contemporary storybooks. Children also will enjoy a hands-on craft or other activity.

The Healthy History-Lovin Halloween Party at the Missouri History Museum
Tuesday, October 27 | 5:00-7:30 p.m.

Put on your costume and get moving and grooving at the Museum! This is a candy-free event, but kids will receive plenty of goodies. Go trick-or-treating in the galleries and learn fun facts along the way, get down in the Halloween disco dance party room, and make Halloween crafts.

SLAM Underground: The Dark Side at the Saint Louis Art Museum
Friday, October 30 | 7:00 p.m.

SIP on a signature drink at our cash bar. MOVE to the beats of DJ TrashTalk. CRAFT decorations in the Art Lab. ENJOY pop music with a dark side from Middle Class Fashion. REVEAL the unknown with a fortune teller and dream analyst. DRAW your own contrast between light and dark while sketching in the style of chiaroscuro. CARVE out time to watch Sculpted Pumpkins's live 2D and 3D demos. SEARCH for shadows in a gallery game
